GO TO CHURCH! and, Contentment!

DAILY DEVOTIONAL SUNDAY NOVEMBER 10, 2024

(Philippians 4:11)

***PERSONAL MESSAGE FOR YOU FROM BILL KELLER: Take a well-deserved rest this weekend. Eat your favorite food, do the things you enjoy to unwind. Get outside in the fresh air. GO TO CHURCH! It has been a grueling few years culminating in the pressures of this week. IT IS OVER, GOD HAS SPOKEN! OUR NATION HAS RECEIVED A REPRIEVE FROM GOD! Monday is Veteran’s Day so for many you get a 3 day weekend. Enjoy these next few day, catch up on your sleep and re-charge your batteries since the next battles over the 71 days until Trump is sworn in lay ahead. I told you that if God allows Trump to rise to power, that is when the real wars begin since the enemies of this country will lash out with everything they have. Relax, be grateful to God, and prepare yourself for the next battles! AMEN!

***DAILY PERSONAL PRAYER FOR YOU: Dear Lord! Today I come to You, asking You to bless the dear people who we faithfully minister to each day. I ask for Your protection, that you meet their every need, and bless them and their families richly. As I have each morning for over 25 years now, I commit YOUR work to You this day. May Your Truth in the marketplace, lives be impacted, and souls saved….FOR YOUR GLORY! My life is in Your hands and I simply ask that You use me so You are glorified!!! In the name of Jesus my Lord I pray. AMEN!!!

***THE DAILY LIVEPRAYER TV NUGGET: My TV Nugget today is very simple, GO TO CHURCH THIS WEEKEND! All followers of Jesus Christ need to be in church this Sunday to give their praise and thanksgiving to Almighty God for sparing our nation. It should also be a time to seek the fact of God to guide you in how YOU can help to lead this nation back to the Lord and Biblical Truth. NO ONE PERSON CAN DO THIS, IT MUST BE THE DEDICATION AND WORK OF ALL FOLLOWERS OF CHRIST BEING FAITHFUL AND OBEDIENT AS THEY SHARE HIS HOPE AND LOVE WITH THE PEOPLE GOD ALLOWS TO CROSS YOUR PATH EACH DAY. Take time this weekend to be with other Believers in thanking the Lord, than be prepared starting next week to put actions to your thanksgiving! AMEN!

For many, one of the greatest challenges of this life is finding contentment. For those who have bought into the world system, contentment is impossible!!! The world system teaches that happiness comes with being successful, being on top. The fallacy of that philosophy is that you are NEVER successful and NEVER on top.

There is always someone more successful; there is always another rung on the ladder to climb no matter how high you may get. Chasing the things of this world, finding contentment in the things of this world is impossible, because there is always more and always someone ahead of you.

So many reading this devotional today are unhappy, bitter, and in many cases without any joy or peace in your life, because you are trying to find contentment in something that will never offer it to you. It will entice you and make you feel like you are almost there, but then the unquenchable thirst begins and you have to keep chasing, chasing, chasing until you get to a point you don't even know what you are chasing any longer.

My friend, there is only one avenue to finding true contentment. That is in your daily relationship with Christ. You see, the short gratification this world can offer you leaves you only wanting more. Your relationship with Jesus give you all you need and then some.

This is a very difficult and involved issue, because it is going to require a total re-prioritization of your life. That will take commitment. That will involve a conscious effort on your part to find contentment in something other than what you have been programmed to for most of your life.

It won't be easy, and my main job today is to be a messenger and inform you that there is true contentment in this life if you are willing to get it. My prayer is that if this is speaking to your heart today, you will make that difficult decision to find the contentment only found in your daily relationship with the Lord.

I love you and care about you, and know many are struggling with this issue today. Open your hearts and let God speak to you today. It is not an accident that you are reading these words. I am praying for you and will stand with you and help any way that I can. Today is the day of decision, so why put it off?

Make the choice today and find the true contentment this life can offer. Not in the things of this world, but in your daily relationship with Jesus Christ!!!
